Urban access restrictions: The way ahead or the wrong response for urban mobility?

The number of cities introducing urban access restriction schemes has increased throughout Europe in recent years. Such measures are intended on reducing traffic congestion or improving air quality. However, the schemes that have been implemented across the EU have created a number of challenges for local authorities, businesses and users. This event aims to discuss among decision makers and stakeholders the key issues at stake with urban access restrictions and to debate the future of such schemes in Europe.
