Brussels, 1 August 2025 – The Forum for Mobility & Society (FMS) is thrilled to welcome the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association – ACEA back as a renewed member. Having previously been part of the network, their return enhances the diversity of the FMS and strengthens its position as a key reference in the EU mobility sector.

ACEA represents Europe’s 16 leading manufacturers of cars, trucks, vans and buses. It supports the movement of people and goods through a wide range of mobility solutions. The association is committed to shaping a new era of mobility in which all Europeans have access to affordable, green, smart, efficient, safe, and reliable transport. ACEA also aims to drive Europe’s mobility transformation while ensuring the automotive industry remains a strong global and competitive player.

Sigrid de Vries, ACEA Director General, commented: “We are pleased to rejoin the Forum for Mobility & Society at such a pivotal time for the mobility sector. As Europe navigates the twin transitions of digitalisation and decarbonisation, collaboration across stakeholders is more important than ever. ACEA is committed to contributing constructively to the dialogue and to ensuring that Europe’s mobility ecosystem remains innovative, inclusive, and globally competitive.”
